2009 DoD CPI Symposium
NCC, Virginia – June 1-3, 2009

At the second annual DoD CPI Symposium, more than 500 Lean Six Sigma and process improvement leaders from across the U.S. Department of Defense will gather at the National Conference Center in Lansdowne, Virginia, for an iSixSigma Live!-produced conference. The Deputy Secretary of Defense, Deputy Secretaries, Deployment Leaders, and Transformation leaders will join to achieve breakthrough results over the course of this two-day conference.
Theme: "DoD CPI: The Next Generation"
What: A conference to unite the U.S. Department of Defense's Lean Six Sigma initiative under a common vision, focused on breakthrough improvement for business excellence. Note: This conference is contracted by the U.S. Department of Defense.
Objectives of This Symposium: The objectives of this symposium will be to:
- Provide Leadership opportunity to support the deployment.

Demonstrate enterprise-wide successes in:
- Strategic Alignment and Project Selection
- Consistency of Approach
- Integration
- Human Capital
- Share information and develop CPI/LSS networks.
- Develop strategy, action plans for continued deployment momentum.
- Serve as an on-going review process to identify and solve enterprise-wide challenges.
